TESTING TESTING
Hello there. This is Moonbuilding Weekly. We’ve got the decorators in right now, but we will opening our doors on Friday 19 January 2024. Don’t miss out, subscribe now by hitting the little button below…
WHAT IS MOONBUILDING WEEKLY?
Moonbuilding, as you will know, is a rather lovely A5, 48-page print magazine that covers the independent DIY electronic music scene. Think artists like Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan, Kayla Painter, Polypores and Field Lines Cartographer, labels such as Castles In Space, Ghost Box, DiN, Clay Pipe, Woodford Halse and quiet details. That’s us. We live at moonbuilding.bandcamp.com
Moonbuilding is an occasional publication, but there’s no shortage of great stuff being released so we thought how about we serve up a regular dose in the shape of MOONBUILDING WEEKLY. It’s more of what we do except it’ll arrive in your inbox rather than through your letterbox. Here’s what to expect…
Our pick of the week’s best and/or most interesting release, reviewed in full, with lots of words. And who wouldn’t want lots of our words in their inbox every week. Exactly.
A decent chat with someone you’re going to be interested in. Guaranteed. There’s a very good chance it’ll be a musician, maybe a label big cheese, an author…
That’s right, Track Of The Week. Something exclusive for you to clap your ears round. An upfront album sneak peak, a crafty remix, could be anything. Quality assured.
It’s a round-up. Of releases. New stuff out at the same time you’ll be reading about it. Yup. We round-up the week’s releases in bite-sized chunks of well-crafted words.
Everything else. There will be books, but other things too - news, events, gadgets, hi-fi perhaps, maybe film and TV…
Subscription details will be revealed soon - we’re looking at a pile ‘em high and knock it out cheap model - but for now the whole shebang is FREE.
The debut issue of MOONBUILDING WEEKLY lands on Friday 19 January.
